Organizing my nail polish

So with 3 boxes and almost 100 polishes I finally sat down and made my life a bit easier. I sorted my boxes out  to organize a bit but I took a brush and painted the top of each bottle with a touch the lacquer so that I can easily grab the color I'm look for rather than dumping everything out or spending forever pulling each one out.

Green and Yellow Half moon

More half moon nails. I have been hand drawing all of my circles so they are not entirely even but I have been getting better at it. I love the yellow color from OPI. It has been on clearance at Ulta for over a month and each time I contemplated it and am happy I gave in and bought this color.

Carpet inspired Half moon

So we just got off a cruise and while we were on board I saw this carpet and it inspired the nails below.

Hello Kitty French tip

I painted my nail first with OPI No Bee's Please the tiped with OPI She's Golden. After it dried I used Sally Hansen art pens to paint two eyes, whiskers and a large black nose. I took a dotting tool and put a spot of Ulta Sun-sational for the nose. I then look the Borghese Boo Maraschino and painted the bow. Lastly I took a white art pen and drew leopard prints and did a light top coat of Wet and Wild's glow in the dark top coat. Since it was only one coat it only glowed in black light or for a minute after the lights were turned off.

Pink French tip with glitter strip

I was bored and playing around and painted my nails purple with pink french tips. It was boring so I hand drew a little white crown on my thumb. It was still boring so I painted a gold glitter strip down the center. I still didn't really like it but stopped before it was to much.

360 Vodka

This is my review of 360 Vodka. It says Eco Friendly on the bottle so I thought I would give it a try. I checked out their web site www.vodka360.com to check out how exactly it was Eco Friendly. It had a lot of info about how people can go "Green" they talk about planting trees and saving on packaging. I feel that a lot of companies do this but don't label themselves as Eco friendly on the label. This is a good start but I think they should go further for one they are not organic. The quality of the product however is great. For the cost it is almost worth it. There is even a rebate coupon attached to the bottle for $5. It is nothing spectacular but tastes good for the cost especially if you send the rebate in otherwise there are a few other options that might be better for your money. I am planning to save the bottle and put oil in it to have next to the stove as the bottle is cute and could be used for a variety of purposes. 

Water Marble

This is my 5th attempt at water marbling. It turns out for me half the time. I guess practice makes perfect so I should practice this more but there are a few steps involved and I think it is kind of messy.This would be worth it if you did not change you nails color as often as I do. I used three colors. Sally Hansen Kook A Mango, Sally Hansen Barracuda and Ulta Snow white.

Dog's double dew claw

So my puppy passed out and I took advantage of the situation by painting his right back foot. I used Milani One coat glitter Gold Glitz 525. He has two dew claws on each of this back legs. The gold shows his extra toe more clearly.

Killer Coconut

This is my 9th month old puppy Killer Coconut. We call him Coconut but he killed a chicken at 3 months old so he became Killer Coconut. Today is his 9 month birthday. He is a very large boy 80lbs and not full grown yet. He is half German Shepard and yellow Lab.

Green Roma Tomatos

So it is September 10th and I have so many green Roma tomato's. The weather really did not heat up here is Seattle until a week or two ago so I am going to have to think up a variety of Green Tomato Ideas....

Hello Kitty with Konad music notes

I love hello Kitty. I used OPI Neolin Park after Dark as the base. I thought that this was a dark purple but it was basically black with purple tints in the sun. After I used Konad plate # M73 with Kello Kitty plate B87 with White Konad special polish.

Hand drawn blue hearts

Sally Hansen Kook A Mango base with China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-le hearts with black outline all hand drawn with dotting tool.

Hand drawn Leopard toes

I panted the base with Revlon Siren and hand painted black leopard. I have big fat flat feet. =(

Dahlias

A few of my Dahlias. I don't remember the names as I stored the tubers from last year. The top star Dahlia is about 4-5 inches, The white dahlia is about 6 inches and the red Dahlia on the bottom is 9-10 inches. I love Dahlias so much they are so pretty.

Sonah's engagement photos manicure

Sonah's getting married and wanted to have fun yet traditional nails for her engagement photo's. We used Sally Hansen's nail growth Miracle "Fearless fog" as the base and Konad White on her ring fingers and Konad Silver for her other nails. Konad image plate # M57.
