Rainbow Pride Nails
These nails were a big hit at the Seattle Pride parade. I did not actually wear these nails to the parade but I had a few friends who asked me to do their nails for pride so this is a picture of my nails the week before because I wanted to time myself so I could figure out how long they would take on my friends. It took an hour and a half on myself while doing other things between drying but with friends and drinks it took 4 hours on 3 friends. This is after a lot of vegan food and a lot more rum.....

Fish scale nails
My husband bought me OPI's Fresh Frog of Bel Air today as a surprise so I wanted test it out right away. I used two coats of OPI Sit under the Apple tree which is a light neon lime color. Then I used two coats of Fresh frog of Bel Air. At this point it was super thick so I had a hard time with the Mash plate 25 since it smudged and I had to repaint two of them before I learned my lesson and waited for it to fully dry. I then used the white Konad special polish with the Mash plate for the overall look. I topped with the Konad special polish top coat. Little messy mostly due to my rush job but still looks extra fancy. =)

Green and white stripes
I did three coats of Rimmel Rags to Riches. It was somewhat opaque so it requires three goes. After I used Kiss nail art white becsue of its really thin brush to make the lines really quickly. The Rimmel is part of the Lasting pro finish line and so far I am impressed. It is the start of gardening season and for the last 8 days it has taken the abuse of digging around in the garden without gloves. It does say up to 10 days and I think so far that it would last the 10 days but I get bored easily and will change tonight or tomorrow before the 10 day mark.

Gray Zebra Sparkle French
This is what I did together with my cousin Hannah. We used Ulta concrete Evidence as the base. We used LA Glitter Addict for the tips in silver glitter with the ring finder on each hand having a white Konad Zebra print.

Rose Nail pattern
I was not sure of the roses as I went along but I think this turned out pretty well. I had a hard time with the Sinful Colors Greek Isles base. Twice it was almost dry then I would touch something and I would have to try and fix it. I used a fat dotting tool to create light pink dots with Ulta Baby Doll then a nail art brush to paint around the edges of the light pink and a short brush stroke in the center to create the flower. I used Ulta Hot spot for the petals. I used the same nail art brush to paint Ulta Envy green leafs onto the roses.

Blue Shield Nails
I painted two coats of Ulta Blue Streak then used the wrong nail art brush for one coat of Sally Hansen Guilty Pleasures and painted the gold strip down the middle and sides then matched up the three at the nail base. I did not really like the look so much as it might have been better with a thinner brush so I used black kiss nail art to create a black line down the center and two extra black lines down the sides on the thumb.

Candy Rainbow fade
I painted two coats of Wet and Wild On a trip purple then sponged on two coats of Shine On Hot pink then two coats of Ulta Sun-Sational. Afterwards I thought it looked a bit to much like candy so I painted one strip each of Kiss Nail Art paint silver and Art Club Psychedelic Dream then a top coat of Essie Pure Pearlfection then Sally Hansen Insta- Dry Anti- Chip Top Coat.

Stripes
I was bored and just messing around. I did a base coat of OPI Skull and Glossbones. I plated around with the Orange Revlon Siren then the Love and Beauty Turquoise. I made the lines with just a normal looking brush that sort of looks like a water color brush with the Sally Hansen Pat on the Back. I don't think I will wear it all week but it was fun to just mess around as I go.
Bundle Monster Nail Art Brushes
I got back from vacation today and waiting for me in my mail box was my 20 piece nail art brush kit. This is a super good value. They were $14 USD and I had a coupon for %10 off. They have nail stamps as well but I have not ordered them as I have a lot of similar designs. They come with plastic covers on all but the dotting and fan brushes. The plastic that the brushes came in smell like shoe polish but still totally worth the money.
Purple dot clusters
This was really easy and simple. I painted two coats of Ulta purple polish (Celebutante) the took a fat dotting tool and mixed the colors starting at the tip to 2/3's up to the nail bed.
